Eleanor is pleased to have Andy Bossov, a pianist in Chicago, play for her concerts when a live accompaniment is requested. A lifelong musician gifted in pop, classical and improvisation, Andy music-directed a Broadway revue touring Russia, Lithuania and Poland, sang with a barbershop chorus in Carnegie Hall, and has accompanied improv comedy shows sailing the Pacific. Andy studied piano at Oberlin Conservatory, then completed his B.M. in theory and composition from Northwestern University, and enjoys playing everything from Beethoven to Broadway. Andy is a frequent pianist at Mariano's Food Stores throughout Chicagoland. He is also a piano teacher and vocal coach.
Andy Bossov enhances lives through music, spirituality, and community building. In addition to his musical performances, he is a licensed Rabbi conducting services, weddings, B'nei Mitzvah, classroom presentations, counseling, and tutoring Hebrew and B'nei Mitzvah students. Ordained at Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, Rabbi Bossov has served as the spiritual leader at three Reform congregations. Currently, he conducts multiple Shabbat services at various retirement residences.
Andy performs his own programs of classical music, jazz and pop standards, Broadway tunes, holiday selections - including Christmas, Jewish sacred and folk songs, sing-along formats, improvisational comedy, and parody songs individualized just for your celebration.
